Kingdom Fox Asylum
You walk through the door leading to the Asylum and find yourself on a strange platform that overlooks a moonlit sea. It is dark, but you can make out shapes coming towards you. They seem to blend in to their surroundings, and you can only guess what they are. As you continue to watch you can see that there are four of them. The first one approaches you, her black eyes looking at you rather expectantly.
"Welcome, stranger, to the Asylum. My name is Shya, the eldest of those brought here." Her voice is like water lapping up against the rocks, and you can tell that she is wise beyond her years. "I am a Silex, a rare type that is little known," she adds, making room as another steps up besides her. He would look like her identical twin but for the fact that his underbelly, muzzle, feet, and the tip of his tail are all grey and they seem to sparkle in the moonlit.
"I am Pocket," he says, his voice the masculine version of Shya's. "I am Shya's sister, and of the Silicone type. My type, like hers, is rare but it is not limited just to me." His eyes sparkle up at you with what seems to be a deep understanding. He looks as though he knows you better then you know yourself. A third ones joins the other two, this one's coat is black as night, and his feet are a deep navy color.
"And I, stranger, am Noro," he says to you, his dark eyes piercing your soul. "I am the first black type, the only known to us," he says, without blinking. "And yes, Pocket most likely does know you better then you know yourself," he said, his eyes shining with mischief. You stare at him for a moment, mouth gaping, while another, the fourth and final fox sidles up to him. She has an air about her that suggests she brings with her night and romance all in one.
"And my name is Brye," she says to you, the way she speaks is both seductive and deep. Her coat shimmers with ripples, mirroring those of the lake in front of you. There is a knowing grin on her face. You look from Shya to Pocket to Noro to Brye, not sure what to say. These four seem to have well blended their personalities into the place they call home. While you ponder this Shya places a small journal at your feet.
"This is Gwyene's journal, it contains information that you may find to your advantage. If you are trying to understand us, that is." she says, a hint of humor in her voice.
Shya is very wise and carries with her knowledge that even I don't have. She is keen to give others advice, and she is almost always right.
Pocket is very understanding of the soul. He seems to know things about you by just looking at you.
Noro has a strange sixth sense that I like to call a psychosomatic link. That is, he can read minds, even if you don't want yours to be read.
Brye is very secretive and manages to go unnoticed when she so chooses. She seems to be the most complex out of all of the four, her attitude is both dark and seducing.
You close the journal and look up, but all four of them have gone. When you look again at the book in your hands you see that it too, is gone. Wondering how this happened without you knowing you look out into the distance. You can see four shapes making their way across the top of the mountain. You go back through the door that brought you here.
